Expressive Landscapes in Oil is a hands-on, artist-led course at Northlight Arts Centre, perfect for beginners and developing painters who want to explore expressive mark-making, colour, and atmosphere through traditional oil painting techniques.
Taught by professional artist Tessa Houghton, this six-week course offers a supportive environment to experiment, deepen your understanding of oil paint, and develop your own creative voice.
Whether you’re new to oils or ready to refresh your skills, you’ll learn to create dynamic, atmospheric landscape paintings while building technical confidence and enjoying the process.
